Responsible Gambling
Greenroom gives every account tools that change what the account can do. The tools are on the responsible gambling page after you sign in. They are not a substitute for the organisations at the bottom of this page. Gambling involves financial risks. Play responsibly and only spend what you can afford to lose.
Age
You must be 18 or older. The age gate stores a confirmation. Registration checks the date of birth and rejects a younger date. A document can be reviewed by a person. None of those steps is a promise that gambling is safe.
What harm can look like
Chasing a loss, hiding play, using money that was meant for rent or food, and feeling unable to stop are reasons to use a time-out or a self-exclusion on this account and to call one of the organisations below. A win inside a game window is not income. This website does not promise one.
Deposit limits
You can set a daily, a weekly, and a monthly limit in whole Canadian dollars. The day starts at midnight in America/Edmonton. The week starts on Monday at midnight. The month starts on the first. A lower number applies immediately. A higher number, or a blank that removes the limit, applies after 24 hours, and the old number stays until then. A credit above the room left in any window is refused. The balance is not changed by a refused credit. The daily number cannot be higher than the weekly number, and the weekly number cannot be higher than the monthly number, when you fill those fields in.
Loss limit
A loss limit is a whole number of Canadian dollars. It counts history rows that carry a negative net. Opening a title records the open and does not write a net, so the act of opening does not by itself increase the counter. When the recorded losses reach the limit, a further credit is refused until the limit is changed. A looser loss limit waits 24 hours. A stricter one applies now.
Session limit
A session limit is a number of minutes from sign-in. When the minutes are reached, you are signed out. Signing in again starts a new count. The server also ends a session after 30 minutes without a request, or 12 hours after sign-in, even if you set no session limit.
Reality check
A reality check is a reminder after a number of minutes. It shows the Canadian dollar balance and lets you continue or sign out. Continue starts the next interval. The reminder does not reset a deposit limit or a loss limit.
Time-out
A time-out lasts 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. You are signed out. Sign-in is refused until the end. A credit is refused. You cannot shorten the time-out from the account. When the time ends, sign-in works again and the limits you had set are still there.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion can be 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or with no end date. You are signed out. The same email cannot open another account while the exclusion is active. A credit and a new withdrawal are refused. A dated exclusion clears on the next visit after the end time. An exclusion with no end date does not clear itself, and a message to support does not lift it by itself. This website does not send the exclusion to a provincial register. If you want a register outside this account, use the organisations below. They are not operated by this website.
Closing the account is separate
Asking support to close the account does not replace self-exclusion. Closure follows the complaints rule in the terms. Exclusion is the tool that blocks the email.
